The "Three Kings" is in Kankanpää, Finland. This sculpture was made during a "Rock and Stone" symposium. (I was puzzled by the name "Rock and Stone" until I discovered that "Rock" was the name of a local beer.) The "Three Kings" is made of granite and teak and measures 180 x 60 x 23 cm. The wooden part was replaced by iron after a few years.
"Sorrow" stands in Eggeby Gård Peoples Park just outside Stockholm. The statue turns round in spite of the saying; "dont look back", or stands paralyzed, wanting to run the other way. This sculpture is made of labrador and diabas, and measures 20 x 26 x 120 cm. (The original hand was broken and replaced by a piece of black granite when the whole figure was vandalized and split in two. Fortunately, everything was successfully glued back together.)
